Moving insurance is not automatically included in your relocation package, however, we highly recommend you secure cover for your move. Our teams are highly-skilled, but with any relocation, there are some risks that we cannot remove.

Allied offers in-house moving insurance, which your personal moving consultant can assist you with. They’ll help you identify the level of coverage you need, finalise a policy, and can also provide guidance through the claims process should the need arise.

Included in our packing services, our removalists use high-quality, professional-grade packing materials in all home, furniture, and office moves that have been designed and tested by our teams. 

If you choose to handle the packing yourself, we recommend that you get your boxes and materials from Allied. These have been carefully manufactured to provide your items with the highest level of protection while they’re in transit.

Each move is different, with varied timing and planning requirements. International relocations, for example, can take considerably longer to plan and complete than a local move a couple of streets over.

We recommend getting in touch with movers as soon as you have a moving date in mind. That way, we can lock in your preferred date, and begin organising the details.

In general, we suggest contacting us approximately six weeks before your intended moving date, but we may be able to facilitate shorter lead times, particularly for less complex relocations. If you have a move coming up, it's never too late to get help from the professional removalists at Allied

• Removal truck and professional removalists: You will have a removal truck and two or more professional Allied removalists assigned to your move, depending on the size of your move.

• Loading and unloading: Allied removalists will load all of your furniture and belongings onto the removal truck, and unload them at your destination. They will take care to ensure that your belongings are adequately secured and protected during transit.

• High-grade packing materials: Allied uses high-grade packing materials to ensure that your personal effects are provided with the appropriate level of protection. This includes items such as packing tape, bubble wrap, furniture blankets, and cartons.

• Global tracking service: Allied Moving Services uses advanced information systems that allows your local, interstate or international move to be tracked at every stage. This enables clear communication with both consumers and corporate clients throughout the process.
