The estimated time of your local, inter-island or international move from Auckland will depend on a variety of factors, such as; where you are moving from and to, the size of your move (the amount of things you are moving), and any related moving services you may require.

Regardless of whether you are moving internationally or locally in Auckland, it’s best to give your moving company as much notice as possible. For a local move, we recommend providing at least two weeks’ notice. It’s best to give at least six weeks' notice for an international move. This is so there is adequate time to prepare and ensure you get the moving date and time you want. Our Auckland domestic moving services (including local and inter-island moves) include the positioning of your furniture as well as placing your boxes in their allocated rooms to ensure a smooth transition to your new home. However, if you require additional assistance such as unpacking your home, setting up your kitchen, making beds, and more, then you can enlist our range of other services including packing, pet relocation, vehicle transport, as well as additional services like pre or post-move cleaning.

While we strive to ensure that we can pack and transport all your required items, there are some items we unfortunately are unable to move domestically and internationally. If you are moving overseas, keep in mind that you will need to check with your new country’s laws and regulations to ensure that you are not bringing in anything which is prohibited.
